Ledger, a cryptocurrency hardware and security company, has launched a non-flammable tokens (NFTs) marketplace for business and a Web 3.0 services platform. The announcement was made at the “Ledger Op3n” event at the NFT.NYC conference in New York this Wednesday (22). Ledger is also launching a range of other products focused on education and Web 3.0 security.
The company prefers NFT marketplace, ledger market, security and transparency. According to Ledger CEO Pascal Guthrie, “signing clear” – a process that helps NFT traders avoid fraud – is something that has been lost “in the wave of Web 3.0 innovation”, and Proper security is essential. “One of the biggest problems in the sector.”
Ledger Market is partnering with brands such as the LVMH Group’s Tag Heuer, and a combination of NFTs DeadFellaz and Brick / Babylon, to list their assets in the market.
Ledger Ledger Enterprise Crate is also launching a platform where companies can scale their Web 3.0 projects and securely move to non-fungible token space.
“Everyone is building NFTs as if they were building websites in the 2000s,” Gauthier told CoinDesk. He hopes that ledger enterprise creation will “allow brands and creators to be in complete control.”
“What we want to do at Ledger is to work with creators and brands in their NFT journey and ensure the whole process, from NFT minting to distribution and production,” said Guthier.
According to him, Ledger has 2 million active users daily and more than 20% of the world’s digital assets are protected by its technology. The company started in 2014 focusing on Bitcoin (BTC) and is now entering the Web 3.0 space with its recent product advances. In May, it launched Ledger Connect, a hardware wallet for users to connect to Web 3.0 applications.
But before implementing Web 3.0, Gothier noted that it is Ledger’s job to help users understand the different technologies and how they can use them.
