STJ University conducts a seminar on the relationship between SUS and the Support Foundation with hospitals.

IThe Supreme Court of Justice (STJ) on Tuesday (21) promoted the seminar. Private Sector in Brazil’s Unified Health System: The Role of Fundamentals in Supporting University Hospitals. Held in the auditorium of the Council of Federal Justice (CJF), the event was attended by the Santo Amaro University (UNESA), the Zarbini Foundation, and the Foundation and the Faculty of Medicine. He said, “Therefore, SUS is an integrated healthcare system, providing a variety of services of low, medium and high complexity, with a single information system, which manages its capabilities and difficulties on a daily basis. “It simply came to our notice then.

The seminar was scientifically coordinated by STJ Minister Mora Ribeiro, who highlighted the importance of the dialogue between support foundations and university hospitals in the context of SUS. “We are talking about healthcare for those who need to live with dignity under Article 1, Item III of our federal constitution,” he said.

Also present at the opening ceremony, STJ Minister Paulo de Tarso Sanseverino focused on the potential for evolution of healthcare in Brazil based on dialogue between public and private systems. He noted that “progress in the field of private medicine is shifting to public health”.

The meeting was also attended by Councilor Richard P. Kim of the National Council of Justice (CNJ). Arnoldo Josipen Jr., director president of the USP School of Medicine Foundation, and Luciane Lucio Pereira, dean of UNICEF.

The Discussion schedule Includes presentations from ministers and experts in the field of health and law. In the first panel, STJ Minister Antonio Saldanha Palheiro addressed legal concerns over the Support Foundation model. The second and final panel discussed “Private Sector in SUS: The Possibilities of Improving the Support Foundation Model and Its Benefits” as one of the topics discussed in a lecture by STJ Minister Antonio Carlos Ferreira.
